Geosynthetics central laboratory

Geosynthetics central laboratory aims to solve all the market requests concerning the geosynthetics materials using tests in order to check the quality of the products according to the European standards.

Geosynthetics central laboratory has specialized personnel, trained in the best Romanian and foreign laboratories, prestigious coworkers, professors and specialists with length of experience. 

The laboratory cooperates to similar laboratories from Germany and Italy, has an updated library and is certified by AFER, and ARACO.

The laboratory is equipped with performant equipments which realize the following tests:

• to determine the unit mass for the geotextiles and geomembranes
• to determine the unit mass for the geosynthetics
• to determine the minimal thickness
• stretching test for geotextiles and geomembranes
• stretching test for geosynthetics
• to determine the stretching resistance for joints/seams for geomembranes – shearing
• to determine the stretching resistance for joints/seams for geomembranes – breaking
• static perforation test
• to determine the water permeability for the geotextiles
• to determine the pores diameter for the geotextiles
